UB Validation Mom and Baby
This course identifies the components of inpatient delivery, newborn, and mom/baby claims and bill validation techniques. We recommend taking this course after completing courses BFR81001 through BFR81006 in addition to BFR81214, BFR81215 and BFR81216.
- Analyze and validate that the codes and data are appropriate prior to claim submission.
- Determine which form locators must be completed to provide a successful claim submission
- Understand what a boarder baby is and what is required for this type of claim.
- Understand the specific form locators that are used for a mom and baby UB form.
