Tracking Progress with Controls
Project controls measure the pulse of progress, but too much red tape (reports, status meetings, and other bureaucratic flak) strangles employees’ initiative and creativity. Controls that become an end in themselves instead of a means to an end are a burden on everyone. By the end of this course, you will be able to identify three categories of controls as well as tactics for introducing ideal controls in order to create a progressive work environment without stifling creativity.
