The cost of private sector acceptable housing compared with incomes means significant numbers of households lack the resources to make a demand for housing. Without subsidised housing, these households may fail to obtain housing of a decent standard. This course will look at the types of social and affordable housing, who is eligible, how to apply, maintenance, and tenancy types.
