Head Protection (US)

Injuries to the head happen too often in American workplaces. These are devastating yet highly preventable incidents. The risk of head injuries is greatly reduced by wearing a hard hat that is sized and worn correctly. Head protection (PPE) is covered by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. This course covers the importance of head protection in the workplace and employers’ legal obligations to provide it. It looks the different types and classes of hard hats, and why wearing a hard hat could be lifesaving.
