Hierarchy of Controls – Administration (Toolbox talks) (AU)
Hazards in the workplace must be controlled. When it’s not possible to eliminate a hazard, substitute it for something else or reduce it using engineering, it’s necessary control the hazard using administration.
This microlearning course is an introduction to “administration” in the hierarchy of controls. It uses examples to demonstrate how changes to behaviour and processes at work can reduce the risk of harm to workers. It is part of the Toolbox Talks series that aims to raise awareness of some of the safety processes that exist in the workplace and clarify commonly used terms for the everyday worker.
