Illinois Sexual Harassment Prevention for Hospitality (US)
Sexual harassment can happen in any workplace, regardless of industry. Yet, there are more sexual harassment charges filed by workers in the accommodation and food service industry than any other. To tackle the issue of workplace sexual harassment, Illinois has mandatory sexual harassment prevention training in workplaces, required by law. In addition, restaurants and bars in Illinois must provide supplemental training specifically aimed at preventing sexual harassment in this industry. This course meets the requirements for training Illinois restaurant and bar employees. It teaches legal definitions of “sexual harassment”, types of behaviors, prevention strategies, and how to respond if it occurs. This course is for employees and managers.
