Leading Learning – LGBT Inclusion
A significant proportion of the global population identifies as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender (LGBT), but this community has historically experienced – and continues to experience – discrimination and exclusion in many areas, including work. Workplaces need to embrace diversity and inclusion to ensure that LGBT people feel welcome and supported.
Being inclusive is the right thing to do. It acknowledges that LGBT deserve respect and should be able to feel safe and comfortable at work, just like anyone else. This course covers the importance of LGBT inclusion, some of the terms used in relation to the community, and ways to make workplaces more inclusive.
