Assess and Learn – Information Privacy (CA)
Most employees handle some kind of personal information in the course of their employment. Knowing how to do this legally and ethically is essential to preventing privacy breaches. This video-based course uses adaptive learning technology to identify knowledge gaps and deliver only the content learners need to know. It looks at Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the lifecycle of information handling. It covers the ten Fair Information Principles as well as organizational requirements under anti-spam legislation (CASL) and how organizations can prevent and best respond to a privacy breach.
