The exchange of gifts in business has been a practice for years. It can be tricky, however, for employees when receiving or giving gifts. While the gesture is nice, gift giving can get out of control and cause issues for employees, and organizations. We’ll look at gift giving, how and when to graciously decline gifts and hospitality, the fine line between a gift and a bribe, and how employees can make the right decisions to avoid conflicts of interest.
