Lockout Tagout
Each year, workers are injured, sometimes fatally, when equipment and machinery accidentally activate during repair or maintenance. Effective procedures to control hazardous energy can prevent these injuries. This course outlines the requirements for controlling hazardous energy when servicing and maintaining equipment and machines. It covers energy sources, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, safety programs for controlling hazardous energy, and regulations related to the Canadian occupational health and safety standard.
