Inclusive Behaviors – Being an Ally
How can you start being an ally at work today? Being an ally means using your position of privilege to help amplify and advocate for people who are members of underrepresented groups. It’s looking beyond just being sympathetic towards a marginalized group. It’s about supporting, and advocating for them.
This course will give employees the skills to be an ally to others, as well as an opportunity to reflect on what they’re currently doing to support their co-workers. They’ll also come across activities they can implement to help support other employees, especially those from marginalized groups.
Covered in this course:
- What it means to be an ally
- Reflect on what being an ally means to you
- Tips and activities to help support marginalized employees
