California Workplace Violence Prevention
Each year, many Californians report experiencing or witnessing workplace violence. Accounts range from threats and verbal abuse to physical assault and homicide. Organizations across all industries must protect their workers. Employers need to take a zero-tolerance approach and manage the risks of violence in the workplace.
This course will provide an overview of workplace violence, including what it is, the warning signs, who’s at risk, and how to prevent it from happening. An awareness of the Californian Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (WVPP) requirements will also be covered.
