Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Talent Management
Confusion over diversity hiring can stem from the mistaken perception that the goal of recruitment is to increase workplace diversity for the sake of diversity. However, think of it this way: You hire for diversity to get the benefits of a range of perspectives and experiences. You get these benefits when people feel included.
Without inclusion and equitable activities, diversity is tokenistic. Integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion, or DEI, with talent management makes each more effective and should be the top priority for any talent management strategy. This course explores strategies to make attracting, developing, and retaining diverse talent more inclusive and equitable.
Covered in this course:
- Benefits of integrating diversity, equity, and inclusion into talent management
- Impact of not removing bias from talent management
