Head Protection (CA)

Injuries to the head are devastating yet highly preventable incidents. The risk of head injuries is significantly reduced by wearing a hard hat that is sized and worn correctly. Head protection (PPE) is covered by Occupational Health and Safety legislation in the respective province or territory.

This course covers the importance of head protection in the workplace and employers’ legal obligations. It also examines the different types and classes of hard hats and why wearing one could be lifesaving.
