Modern technology has made it much easier for workers to work remotely and flexibly. However, this can mean employees and employers blur the line between work and personal life.

Under the Fair Work Act, employees now have the right to disconnect, including refusing to monitor, read, or respond to contact from an employer or third party outside of working hours, unless that refusal is unreasonable. But what is an unreasonable refusal, and how do managers handle disputes?
